Since I went to a Push-to-Publish a couple of weekends ago, I’ve taken a step back from my writing.

At the PtoP I did not get an immediate six-figure deal and movie option for my novel. Obviuosly people just do not recognize talent when they see it. As our president would say, “Sad”.

When I say I’ve taken a step back, I mean that I have not started anything new. Instead I started heavily into annotating Writer’s Market 2018, started investigating “middle grade” because everyone seems to be looking for it, and organizing my millions of files.

I came across a story I originally wrote on a typewriter! It is called “Eyeball”. I submitted it to a contest when I was in high school. I got my first rejection out of it but several nice comments also. I’ve updated it a few times since, including recently.

It is now posted on my author site just in time for Halloween!

Married with three adult children, I taught in the Upper Perkiomen School District for thirty-nine years, where I was also heavily involved in co-curricular activities, including the school newspaper, TV studio, and baseball. After coaching for thirty-two years, I retired and was inducted into the school’s hall of fame. Before becoming a high school English teacher, I received my BS in communication from Temple University, Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Certificate from St. Joseph’s University, and Masters in Educational Administration from Villanova University.
